Agromet Asia (Private) Limited has been recognized as the recipient of the , Merit Award Light Engineering Products at the Presidential Export Awards, organized annually by the Sri Lanka Export Development Board (SLEDB), in recognition of the company outstanding export performance during the financial year 2024/25.

The company was evaluated based on key performance criteria including export turnover, export proceeds repatriation, net foreign exchange earnings, market and product diversification, value addition, innovation, and sustainable export practices. Agromet Asia (Private) Limited demonstrated exceptional performance across these areas, earning this prestigious national recognition.

The selection of the award winner was carried out by an eminent Panel of Judges, chaired by a retired Judge of the Supreme Court, following a comprehensive and transparent evaluation process.

As a winner of the Presidential Export Awards, Agromet Asia (Private) Limited is presented with a prestigious PEA certificate and is entitled to use the PEA logo as a marketing and promotional tool for a period of three years.
